SK4834 : Repainted Sign
near to Long Eaton, Derbyshire, Great Britain

Repainted Sign
If I recall correctly this was an Environment Agency sign welcoming visitors to the Toton Washlands, which this area of scrub next to the River Erewash is called.
The path on the left forms part of the Nutbrook Trail, which started just to the south behind the Long Eaton Asda and ends at near Heanor in SK4345.
The white gables in the distance at the centre of the picture have only recently become visible and soon will disappear as they are the white-washed internal walls of the semi-demolished Britannia Mills on Bennett Street.
