Staples Corner
Junction of the A5 with the A406 North Circular Road. This view shows the slip road from the northbound A5 onto the A406 roundabout. The road deck above on the left of the photo is the A5 itself carrying through traffic. The higher flyover visible on the right is the A406 for through traffic. Everyone else has to fight it out on the roundabout below. Pedestrians get about using a network of footbridges and pelican crossings. The brick arches visible in the distance carry the St.Pancras to Leicester mainline as it passes north of Criclewood towards Hendon.
