Preparing for a 'Winter Wonderland' - Cathays Park, Cardiff

Many years ago, when such things mattered, the architects responsible for planning and designing the Cathays Park area provided an open and peaceful setting for the buildings it contained. Today, when society is more concerned with removing cash from the pockets and purses of each other particularly those who wish to spend their, sometimes, hard earned cash, on more hedonistic pursuits, such areas of relative peace and tranquility are given over to 'market forces' at odds with those altruistic ideals of yesteryear.

Shame on those who allow it so to be!
