1. Coventry Cathedral
The cathedral church of St Michael stands alongside the ruins of the earlier St Michael's cathedral which was largely destroyed by bombing during WW2. Built to a design by Sir Basil Spence, it was consecrated in 1962. Sandstone faced. A grade I listed building.
