TL9933 : St. Peter's church, Boxted, Essex
near to Boxted, Essex County, Great Britain

St. Peter's church, Boxted, Essex
This church dates back to the Norman period and there are traces of re-used Roman brick in the fabric of its walls. It is a very interesting church, externally and internally, and it is well worth a visit. It stands to the north of the main part of the village, on high ground.
