Aquaspersions Limited was established in 1974 as a UK-based manufacturer of high-quality, water-based additives for the polymer and associated industries, including curing and stabilising additives for the synthetic and natural rubber latex markets, stabilising additives for the manufacture of ABS and PVC, 'Ceasefire' flame retardant dispersions, and speciality water-based ingredients for adhesives, coatings and textile applications. (Abstracted from the company's website) The site was part of Beacon Fire Clay Works, which was established here between 1850 and 1890 and remained on the OS maps until the mid-20C.
