The striking art deco relief above the entrance to the Reid Library (now the main admin unit) of the Rowett Institute. Nisi Dominus Frustra ("Without god all is in vain") from Psalm 127 is a popular Scottish motto and features on the Arms of the City of Edinburgh (see: LinkExternal link and is the motto of many schools.
