Courthouse Farm
An old farm said to have been used by Henry III prior to the Battle of Lewes in 1264 which was fought on the Downs above. It was also home to novelist John Cowper Powys between 1896-1902. Ditchling Road, the B2116, is in the foreground whilst the distinctive crown of Blackcap is above.
