This Grade II listed building built circa 1690 was the birthplace of one of Wales’ most prominent Methodist preachers, John Jones Talysarn. LinkExternal link At the gate entrance to the house, there is a large memorial to him and his brothers SH7252 : Monument to religious brothers and also on the side of the house is a slate memorial to the family.
