A challenging ditch crossing
A challenging ditch crossing
As the signposts show, there is definitely a footpath crossing this ditch. There were the remains of a stile across the fence (left), but it was only a handily placed stone in the ditch which gave me any chance of getting across it with dry feet. It's clearly crying out for a new footbridge - Staffs Council Rights of Way people, please take note!
