Fields near Dipple
The fields on the flood plain of the River Spey are flat, apart from the occasional ancient river channel. The river itself runs at the far side of the flood plain, beyond the green fields. The fence in the foreground prevents people falling into the exit of the culvert which carries the Dipple Burn under the road. Careful scrutiny will reveal the steeple of Bellie Parish Kirk sticking up above the trees on the left. The highest point on the skyline is Whiteash Hill.
