The green grass is sprouting among rows of stubble left when this year's cereal crop was harvested. The road is concealed here by one of the carefully trimmed beech hedges which line the whole length of all the roads which traverse the land around Dipple. The house is Sweethome Cottage, standing on the bank of the Dipple Burn, the course of which is marked by the trees.
