SN2207 : Ragwen Point from above Gilman Point
near to Pendine, Carmarthenshire/Sir Gaerfyrddin, Great Britain

Ragwen Point from above Gilman Point
The bay of Morfa Bychan provides quite a contrast to the beach at Pendine - more stones, fewer people. Ragwen Point is where the hard Twrch Sandstone (basal 'Millstone Grit') dips down into Carmarthen Bay. The scree on the far side of the bay is that rock, having tumbled down from the outcrop which forms the skyline.
