The track leading off to the right is for Doghillock Farm. The footpath itself continues straight ahead, as indicated by the wooden signpost on the left.
Footpath: Toptowie to Plean Road :: NS8184
This is a fairly short route, with a straight-line distance of about 820 metres. At the foot of Toptowie Hill, the footpath begins alongside Denovan Road. The first half of the footpath is a track leading to an old quarry at Doghillock. The latter half consists of a waymarked route along field margins, ending with a stile that leads up to Plean Road.
