The path continues straight ahead, following the line of the hedge, then swings to the right, following the boundary between this field and the one that is visible in the background.

Footpath: Toptowie to Plean Road

This is a fairly short route, with a straight-line distance of about 820 metres. At the foot of Toptowie Hill, the footpath begins alongside Denovan Road. The first half of the footpath is a track leading to an old quarry at Doghillock. The latter half consists of a waymarked route along field margins, ending with a stile that leads up to Plean Road.
