Following on from the section shown at NS8184 : Footpath to Plean Road, the route turns left at this signpost, following the line of the dry-stone wall to the stile where the footpath ends: Link
Footpath: Toptowie to Plean Road
This is a fairly short route, with a straight-line distance of about 820 metres. At the foot of Toptowie Hill, the footpath begins alongside Denovan Road. The first half of the footpath is a track leading to an old quarry at Doghillock. The latter half consists of a waymarked route along field margins, ending with a stile that leads up to Plean Road.
