Tywi Bridge and valley near Dolgoch, Ceredigion
Whether there was a stone bridge here before this plain one (soon to be replaced, I have heard) I do not know. Maybe it was just a fording point for the former cattle drovers' route from Tregaron which used it in the 18th and 19th centuries.
I have heard that the bridge is due for replacement; maybe someone local can let me know when that happens.
