River Spey
Between the nearer and farther hill on the opposite bank is the steep glen of the tautologically named Burn of Aultdearg. Aultdearg is from Gaelic and means 'Red Burn'. The large boulders are not 'native', bur have been placed there on the bank to stabilise it and improve the angling.
