When M&S opened this store at The Willows in 1993, there was concern for their town centre store, which remained until 2001. In 2006 they opened a small "Simply Food" in the town centre, but that has now closed, ironically reverting to the very food chain that had vacated it three years earlier. M&S have plans for a substantial expansion of these premises.
