Nant Tadarn by Carreg y Frân, Powys

Following a dry spell of weather, Nant Tadarn is no more than a tumbling little stream here as it descends the hillside towards the River Tywi. It is about to cross the former drovers' route between Strata Florida and Abergwesyn (joining the more famous route from Tregaron a mile or so to the south). Following heavy rain it quickly becomes a torrent, making the ford an obstacle requiring special care.
