Lôn Las Cymru, Tywi Valley, Powys

The Lôn Las Cymru is Wales's long distance cycle route. Here it climbs into the Tywi Forest, through which it meanders a long way before returning to the byway just over a mile north-west of here at SN800612. Apart from the joys of rough surface riding through the trees, an alternative purpose may be to avoid the deeper fords across the Afon Tywi which the shorter route would entail.
