Byway through the Tywi Forest, Powys
Byway through the Tywi Forest, Powys
This is the former cattle drovers' route from Pontrhydfendigaid (via Strata Florida) to the Tywi Bridge (near Dolgoch Hostel), joining the Tregaron route, then on to Abergwesyn. Of course, there was no forest or hostel then, just Elenydd moorland with deep valleys and remote farmhouses.
