NT6665 : Hill top junk

4 km from Cranshaws, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Hill top junk
Hill top junk
The most scenic dump in East Lothian. The summit of Bothwell Hill (or Birks Cleugh Hill) is home to old fences and stobs. While unsightly, it was sheltering some birdlife and is infinitely preferable to leaving the stuff all over the hill. It was also somewhat spooky when first seen against the skyline.

Oh and Crystal Rig wind farm is in the background.
