TQ3978 : Enderby House
near to Greenwich, Great Britain

Enderby House
Surrounded by industrial sites on three sides and the Thames Path on the fourth, this is a house with quite a history (given in the book referred to below [1]). Briefly, it was built in the 1840s as the home of the Enderby Brothers who established a textile factory adjacent; it later made telegraph cables and the site is still making cbales, now under the Alcatel name.
