Old buffer stops by BT telephone exchange
The old buffer stops are a relic from the Waveney Valley railway line which was opened in 1863 and terminated here in Tivetshall St Margaret. They mark the location of the former goods siding. Tivetshall station was closed in 1966 and nothing remains of the Waveney Valley Line.
