near to Oxford, Oxfordshire, Great Britain

The University Press from the Radcliffe Observatory
Zooming in on the Press, built 1830 in classical style with four huge Corinthian columns around a triumphal archway. To its right on the opposite side of Walton Street is the former St Paul's, a Grecian style church of 1836, abandoned for many years but now a cafe-bar called Freud's. The clearing of the intervening ground provides a view the apse at the rear.
