Parry People Mover demonstration line stop for the SS Great Britain
This basic and temporary stop for the Parry People Mover demonstration line was only in use for 30 months, during the 1998-2000 period. It served the static exhibit in Bristol Harbour, Brunel's famous ship S.S. Great Britain. However the stop was not actually by the ship, but involved a short walk. Under the platform is hidden a short length of current rail. When the railbus stopped here, it took in electric current from the rail to "charge" its flywheel.
