Saith Maen
This collection of (erratic) boulders sat atop a glaciated gritstone pavement numbers about 8 or 9 but presumably represents the 'seven stones' of the Welsh name. This is a wild and barren place but not without its charm - little changed since the departure of the ice some 15 to 18,000 years ago, it provides a glimpse into Wales' past.
