Union Square is a brand new shopping centre for Aberdeen - it had first opened only a few days before this picture was taken. It comprises more than 60 shops and restaurants as well as a hotel and cinema; there is also direct access into the city's railway station. The impressive glass frontage gives a clear reflection of the Station Hotel across Guild Street on this bright autumn morning.
