John Deere took over the Waterloo Boy Company in 1918.
Model N, overhead valve, two cylinder 750rpm engine.
25hp drawbar. Two forward gears and one reverse.
The tractor has a small petrol tank, used for starting the engine and a larger tank (at the front) LinkExternal link for paraffin to run it.
50th all Wales ploughing and hedging championships 2009
Held at Gwern-y-go Farm, Sarn, Montgomeryshire on 19 September 2009. The all Wales ploughing and hedging championships were founded by the Radnor Valley Ploughing Society in 1958.
As well as the ploughing and hedging competitions the event included sheepdog trials, trade stands, displays and demonstrations of vintage farm machinery, craft stalls and terrier racing.
