This is the entire length of this short street on Standard Hill, Nottingham. It ends in a set of steps that lead down to Lenton Road close to both the gatehouse of Nottingham Castle Link and the gates to the Park Estate.

Standard Hill is so called because in was on this spot on 22 August 1642 that King Charles I raised his standard, marking the start of the English Civil War.

The pictured building is Grade II listed Reference Number: 457417.
