SD7984 : Reconstructed bridleway

3 km from Stone House, Cumbria, Great Britain

Reconstructed bridleway
Reconstructed bridleway
This will become part of the new Pennine Bridleway and has been completely reconstructed to replace the previous boggy surface. Work was started in June 2006.

Since that time grass has begun to colonize the surface and will help it to stabilize and blend visually with the landscape.

Ingleborough can be seen in the distance to the right.
