Bridge 34 to bridge 35, Grand Union Canal (5)

A very short narrowboat-style canal cruiser moored on the Grand Union Canal west of bridge 34. This section of the canal is pleasant and wooded with Offchurch Bury Park to the north and the village of Radford Semele behind a low hill to the south.

West of bridge 34, the first half-mile of the canal's course is overhung by mature trees. Initially, the canal closely follows the River Leam and is cut into the hillside above the river. When the Leam swings north, the canal continues west past the embankment of the dismantled railway from Leamington to Rugby. The canal then crosses open farmland before passing under bridge 35 and entering the eastern suburbs of Leamington.
