Bridge 34 to bridge 35, Grand Union Canal (7)
The stretch of Grand Union Canal between bridges 34 and 35 is pleasant and wooded with Offchurch Bury Park to the north and the village of Radford Semele behind a low hill to the south.
This view is looking east and shows the canal overhung by mature trees. At this point, the canal closely follows the River Leam and is cut into the hillside above the river.
Behind the camera position, the canal continues west past the embankment of the dismantled railway from Leamington to Rugby. The canal then crosses open farmland before passing under bridge 35 and entering the eastern suburbs of Leamington.
