Plym Mouth, in effect, Cattewater being where the River Plym enters Plymouith Sound. "On the northern shore of this confluence of waters there was a rock outcrop, which it was claimed, had the appearance of a cat" Link
. It also gives its name to the area visible on the far side of the water. In the foreground is the passenger ferry for Commercial Wharf, waiting to leave Mount Batten.
