NC5947 : Moorland burns

taken 13 years ago, near to Cnoc Nan C¨ilean [hill or Mountain], Highland, Great Britain

Moorland burns.
Moorland burns.
The steepness of Cnoc nan C¨ilean makes it a good vantage point for aerial views. Here there are confluences of (left to right) Allt Donnachaidh, Allt a' Glas-coire Mh˛ir and Allt na Creige Riabhaich, all draining the east side of Ben Loyal. The green shows well drained land and demomstrates the value of following burns when in bogland. (Although the bog was easy going here)
