Saturated ground
We seem to have heard these two words on the weather forecast for most of this week. The ground in front of the Riverside Inn is quick to fill with water after an extensive spell of rain. The level of water in the nearby Wye is rising fast. Behind the inn are four distinctive buildings: on the very left the former British & Foreign School, then to the right is the Gazebo Tower, the Royal Hotel and the former ice house, now converted.
