NZ0421 : Decaying sheds, Brown Jug

taken 14 years ago, near to Kinninvie, County Durham, England

Decaying sheds, Brown Jug
Decaying sheds, Brown Jug
Brown Jug is now a farm, advertising free range eggs. On the older map I was using when this photograph was taken, it is marked "PH", which seems a better fit with the name. Kinninvie is a tiny hamlet, but has a mission church, so it would be most unusual for it not to have had a pub ! If the chickens responsible for the eggs have to live in this shed, I can't blame them for being "free range". I'm sure I wouldn't want to venture inside this building, either - the western end in particular seems about to sink into oblivion.
