Two Degrees West
Two Degrees West
Two Degrees West is a book by Nicholas Crane. He walked the length of England from Berwick to Dancing Ledges, Purbeck following the line of two degrees longitude, only deviating within one grid square either side - this is significant, 2W is the base line for the projection used for the British National Grid. Only at two degrees does a grid line and line of longitude coincide. This photo is taken at 2W 55N and I was facing east.
