The Dutch Houses, Park Road, Tring
An attractive row of terraces named after their Dutch-style gable-ends. One of the tenants informed me that they were erected by the Rothschild family - whose mansion SP9211 : The Mansion, Tring Park is a short distance away - to house members of their staff. The timbered building just visible on the right is one of the almshouses SP9211 : Louisa Cottages, Tring also erected by the Rothschilds at the end of the 19th century to house retired estate workers.
