View of Halifax Building Society HQ and Station approach
This view is from Beacon Hill. The Building Society (now part of the HBOS Bank) building is the big ugly building towering over the town centre. The approach to the station is on stilts over former sidings, now the Eureka Museum car park. Above this is a particularly fine warehouse, with some good carving over the door at the corner next to the cross-roads. The red building to the right is the Square Chapel.
