Derbyhaven Hotel, Isle of Man
The large white building on the right is the hotel, now apartments.
In April, 1933, The aviatrix Amy Johnson and her husband Jim Mollison, flew in separately and stayed at the Derbyhaven Hotel and were fêted wherever they went, including planting a tree and having lunch at Government house.
On a personal note, as a child in 1968 I spent my first 2 days on the Island here.
