Drive to Avenue Cottage Gardens
Drive to Avenue Cottage Gardens
The drive drops between turkey oaks. "Avenue Cottage is named after the avenue of Turkey Oak that was planted in 1844 by Squire Durant so that he could walk through it on his way to church" LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) . Seen from the lane from Ashprington and from the John Musgrave Heritage Trail and the Dart Valley Trail which both pass the top of it; they do not use it.
