Whilst marked Kite Hill Plantation on the OS maps, the woodland to the left and in the distance on this photograph is described as Bladen Woodland by a sign put up by the owners. Sadly the peace of the wood is spoilt by a constant roar of traffic from the A35 which runs near its northern boundary and which has been sadly built with a particularly noisy surface.
