SH6558 : Summit mound of Glyder Fach
taken 18 years ago, near to Pont Pen-y-Benglog, Conwy, Wales
Summit mound of Glyder Fach
Glyder Fach has a long, fairly level summit plateau with some very strange features rising from it. The plateau in this picture is half way up. The green in the lower portion is actually the top of Y Gribin.
The pile of rocks rising from plateau is the summit of Glyder Fach. Each rock is huge - taking several steps to traverse and climbing the mound itself is a challenging short scramble.
