SP3019 : The single Cotswold line

near to Ascott-Under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire, Great Britain

The single Cotswold line
The single Cotswold line
The train line from Oxford to Worcester has a fairly obvious drawback, following cutbacks some years ago: it is just one line for much of its length, meaning that trains can only cross over at specific points. The Cotswold Line Promotion Group, LinkExternal link campaigns for improvements to the line, although its 'redoubling' looks a long way off.
