View SW from the Burton Hills
Looking across the adjacent squares towards the escarpment of Edge Hill and the spot at which King Charles I raised his banner for the battle that was to be the start of the English Civil War. Concealed in the trees towards the right of the view is SP3747 : Radway Tower. The M40 runs through the cutting at the bottom of the picture and in the middle of the picture, just by the furrowed fields is SP3848 : Arlescote.
