St Clements Church one of the two ancient churches in Hastings.It is situated in Church Sq of the High Street Old Town. The Church once stood much closer to the sea as it does at present.The registers of St Clements commence in 1558. The picture was taken across Swan Gardens, the site of the Old Swan Hotel which was destroyed in WW2.
