Haye Park's drive

Rough limestone road through the Deer Park to the former farm of Haye Park. This is quite a distance from and above the nearest public road. My father once rashly agreed to deliver some sheep to "Richard's Castle" from market - found out that they were for Haye Park, and had to drive them up from the road near the Black Pool. The flock shrank by 5 during the journey - the stagglers were rounded up from Haye Park Wood later.
