The Killigrew Monument
The Killigrew Monument
This pyramid is assumed to be a monument to the Killigrew Family, although there is not direct evidence that it was intended to be so. The plaque by the monument which details the history of the monument and the Killigrew family makes for some very entertaining reading. It tells of Killigrews who indulged in piracy, theft, murder and infidelity - and the husbands were even worse! Not to be missed.
